Depression therapy
Therapy for depression, to recover your motivation.
It is not laziness or a lack of drive. It is that something inside has switched off. I accompany you to understand what switched it off and to turn it back on, at your pace and without inspirational quotes.
Does this sound familiar?
Recognise what you are living.
Depression does not always look like sadness. Many times it looks like feeling nothing. This is what I usually hear in consultation.
- “Things I used to enjoy do not matter to me anymore.
- “I wake up tired even after ten hours of sleep.
- “I smile at work and I break down when I get home.
- “I feel like a burden to the people who love me.
- “It is even hard to shower, and I am ashamed to admit it.
- “I am not exactly sad. It is more like being switched off.
How I work on it
The Conscious Decision
Programme applied to your moment.
The Conscious Decision Programme applied to depression combines science, awareness and practical experience so that life comes back where there is now fog.
Over five sessions we go through a process that moves from the symptom to the origin, and rebuilds, step by step and without impossible demands, your desire to be here.

Session 01
Your story with the shutdown
We rebuild when the light started to switch off and what was happening in your life. Depression always has a context.
- When and how it started
- What still holds and what has fallen
Session 02
The knot of depression
We find what is feeding it. An unfinished grief, a life that stopped looking like you, a demand that has burned you out.
- What the shutdown is pointing to
- A systemic, context-based approach
Session 03
A change of perspective
You stop treating yourself as a problem to fix and start listening to what your shutdown is asking for. Guilt goes down, and meaning comes back.
When your perspective changes, your emotion changes, and when your emotion changes, your body changes.
Session 04
Practical reprogramming
We activate behaviour with tiny, realistic steps. No heroic resolutions, just sustainable movement that breaks the circle.
- Behavioural activation tailored to you
- Minimal routines you can actually keep
Session 05
Closure and autonomy
You close the process with your warning signs identified and your own plan to protect what you have recovered.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about depression
Depression fills everything with doubt, starting with whether what you have is depression. This is what people ask me most.
How do I know if it is depression or just a rough patch?
A rough patch responds to a reason and gradually eases. Depression settles in, switches off interest in almost everything and does not improve on its own as the weeks go by. If in doubt, an assessment will make it clear.
Can I do therapy while taking antidepressants?
Yes, and they usually work well together. Medication can give you a floor to stand on while therapy works on the origin. All in coordination with your doctor.
What if I do not even have the energy to come to therapy?
I know, and that is exactly why the online option exists. Starting from your sofa, without travel, lowers that first step to a manageable height.
Can depression be fully overcome?
Yes. Most depressions respond well to psychological treatment. The goal is not just to get out of it but to come out knowing what caused it, so it does not come back through the same door.
