Postpartum depression
Therapy for postpartum depression, to find yourself again.
You have just given life and you feel like yours has switched off. You are not broken and you are not a bad mother. I accompany you out of that hole with a clear process, at your pace and without judgement.
Does this sound familiar?
Recognise what you are living.
Postpartum depression hides behind the logical tiredness of having a baby, and that is why it takes so long to ask for help. This is what I usually hear in consultation.
- “Everyone is happy with the baby and I just want to cry.
- “I am afraid of being alone with my daughter, and I am ashamed to say it.
- “I feel like a spectator of my own life.
- “I cannot sleep even when the baby sleeps.
- “I think my family would be better off without me and it scares me to think it.
- “They tell me it is normal, but I know this is not normal.
How I work on it
The Conscious Decision
Programme applied to your postpartum.
The Conscious Decision Programme applied to postpartum combines science, awareness and practical experience so that you can inhabit yourself again, now that you are a mother too.
Over five sessions we go through a process that tells apart tiredness from symptom, goes to the origin, and gives you back solid ground under your feet.

Session 01
Your story with postpartum
We rebuild the pregnancy, the birth and these months. We tell apart the exhaustion that comes with parenting from the symptoms that need attention.
- What is tiredness and what is symptom
- How your real day to day is going
Session 02
The knot of postpartum
We find what is feeding it. A difficult birth, the loss of your previous life, a demand that leaves you no room to breathe.
- Grieving the life before
- Demands and mandates about being a mother
Session 03
A change of perspective
You stop measuring yourself against the mother you should be and start building the one you can and want to be. Guilt loses ground.
When your perspective changes, your emotion changes, and when your emotion changes, your body changes.
Session 04
Practical reprogramming
You regain ground with small, possible actions. Real rest, concrete help and moments of your own that do not depend on having time to spare.
- A support network truly activated
- Daily micro-actions for recovery
Session 05
Closure and autonomy
You close the process with tools to sustain your recovery and clear warning signs in case the clouds come back.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about postpartum depression
It is one of the most common conditions after birth and one of the least talked about. This is what people ask me most.
How do I know if it is postpartum depression or just exhaustion?
Exhaustion improves when you rest. Postpartum depression does not depend on sleep and includes persistent sadness, disconnection or thoughts that scare you. If in doubt, it is worth getting checked.
When does postpartum depression appear?
It can appear in the first weeks or months after birth, and also during pregnancy. There is no single timeline, and no version is less valid than another.
Can I do therapy while breastfeeding?
Yes. Therapy is compatible with breastfeeding and with any way of feeding your baby. If you also needed medication, it is assessed with your doctor without putting anything at risk.
Does this mean I am a bad mother?
No. Postpartum depression is a health condition, not a character flaw or a lack of love. Asking for help is the exact opposite of failing your baby.
Is online or in person better for postpartum depression?
Both work. With a small baby, the online option is usually the realistic one, without travel or depending on someone else to watch the baby. We start wherever is possible for you and change format whenever you need.
