EMDR therapy
EMDR therapy to process what stayed etched in.
Some experiences the brain cannot manage to file away, and they keep hurting as if they had just happened. EMDR helps process them so they finally become part of the past, not the present.
Does this sound familiar?
Recognise what you are living.
Trauma does not always come from a big accident. It is also left by experiences that no one validated. This is what I usually hear in consultation.
- “There are memories that ambush me when I least expect it.
- “I overreact and afterwards I do not know why I did it.
- “I avoid places and situations that remind me of that.
- “I have made peace with it in words, but my body says something else.
- “I have slept badly since then, with dreams that repeat.
- “I feel like that changed me, and I have not been the same since.
How I work on it
The Conscious Decision
Programme with EMDR as a tool.
The Conscious Decision Programme integrates EMDR as a central tool when there are unprocessed experiences, so that the past stops firing off in your present.
EMDR is a therapy endorsed by the World Health Organization for trauma. Over five sessions we integrate it into a complete process, with preparation and closure.

Session 01
Your story and the map
We rebuild which experiences are still active and how they get triggered today. You do not need to tell every detail in order to work on it.
- Map of unprocessed experiences
- How they get triggered in your present
Session 02
Preparation and resources
Before touching any memory, we build your stabilisation resources. You always work from a safe place and in control.
- Calm and grounding resources
- You set the pace at all times
Session 03
EMDR processing
Through bilateral stimulation, your brain reprocesses the memory until it loses its charge. The memory stays, the pain leaves.
EMDR is recommended by the World Health Organization for the treatment of trauma.
Session 04
Practical reprogramming
We consolidate the change in your real life. Situations you used to avoid, reactions that no longer fire, ground being recovered.
- Checking it in real situations
- Tools for whatever remains
Session 05
Closure and autonomy
You close the process with the memory filed where it belongs and your own tools for everyday life.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about EMDR
EMDR raises curiosity and a bit of scepticism in equal measure. This is what people ask me most before trying it.
What does EMDR mean and what does it involve?
It stands for eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing. Through bilateral stimulation, I guide your brain to finish processing memories that got stuck.
Will I have to relive what happened to me?
You do not need to recount every detail or relive anything without control. We work with the necessary prior preparation, and you can stop at any moment.
Does EMDR work online?
Yes. Bilateral stimulation adapts to video call with the same effectiveness, and working from home adds a sense of safety.
Is it only for big traumas?
No. It also processes less visible experiences that left a mark, such as humiliations, losses or periods of high stress. If something still hurts when you remember it, it can be worked on.
